Jono Grant vs. Mike Koglin - Circuits download free

The Original Mix of 'Circuits' is an excellent production, effortlessly synthesising power and melody to create a crunchy, storming floor-filler. Before exploding into life the build-up paints a spacey, airy soundscape filled with gliding synths, with some heavy percussion helping to drive the track along once the delightfully simple melody kicks in. However, it would be a mistake to ignore what is an excellent (and indeed far more versatile) B-side. Jono Grant's reworking is a production with a lot of finesse and whilst it may lack the raw punch of the Original Mix, it still contains a lot of energy and utilises the core melody to greater effect, with some gorgeous additional melodies and soundscapes integrated around it. With two excellent yet contrasting mixes on this package, this is arguably one of the strongest all-round releases on a label with a formidable back catalogue.
